Faguas
Fagua are kinetic sculptures inspired by pre-Columbian heritage, nature, gravity, and space.
Through abstraction and the dialogue between matter and immaterial forces, they evoke a sense of dematerialization.
Accented with gold—symbol of solar energy—these serene, unshakable forms move gently, offering a calm, timeless resonance.

Originally commissioned for 38 Riv in Paris, this sculpture followed Alexandre Etzi’s artistic journey to grace his new jazz venue in Paris: the JASS Club.
Crafted from a double bass donated by Charton Lutherie, the piece blends wood and brass to explore the resonances between sound, material, and form.
The intricate woodwork, developed with technical support from Rachel Nicosia, marries artisanal precision with artistic vision.
Now standing at the heart of the JASS Club, the sculpture bears witness to the enduring dialogue between the instrument and its surroundings, extending the very soul of jazz into this new setting.
